Iiris (2017)
Iiris is a contemporary circus piece that delves into the poem “The Hollow Men” by T. S. Eliot. The performers come together and create improvised scenes based on the five parts of the said poem. Always new, always alive and in the rhythm of the moment, they allow us to witness human frailty. Iiris is staged by 17 Finnish circus artists. The training process and the final production have their basis on improvisation.
